You want to start a business. Not just any business, but a business for world betterment. You feel your personal responsibility towards people on the short end of the stick and don’t want to be a spectator. Through your business you want to make a positive social impact, by using innovative solutions to pressing social issues. In other words, you want to become a social entrepreneur.
The number of social entrepreneurs worldwide is rising steadily. More and more people realise that there is more to business than money. But what makes a company a social enterprise? What skills are needed to run such a company? Where and how do you start? How do you measure the impact you’re making? This workshop addresses these questions and many more.
The nature of this workshop is participative, hands-on and bootcamp style. That means that we will get to work and co-create this knowledge together at high pace. We’ll build on each other’s knowledge. By the end of the day you’ll have a clear view of what social entrepreneurship entails.
For whom? For people who want to exploit their entrepreneurial capacities for world betterment and want to oversee what it means to engage in such an endeavour.
